OCR Vision (Optical Character Recognition Mobile App)

Overview

Developed a cross-platform OCR mobile application capable of extracting text from real-world images captured through the device camera. Integrated Tesseract OCR with a Flask-based backend for image processing and text recognition. Containerized the backend using Docker and deployed the application for reliable and consistent performance across environments. Focused on responsive mobile experience, fast OCR processing, and scalable deployment workflows.
